Identity, branding and Creative Direction for the Moscow based Mars Centre for Audiovisual Arts.

The new logo of the ‘Mars Center’ is based on a simple graphic symbol, derived from a blurred dot. It evokes the association with the round object that is located far, far away, which corresponds to the name ‘Mars’. The sign was developed analytically, however its essence is abstract and is not intended to cause an obvious association with the planet. It could be read both as a functional as well as a figurative image.
